Seriously, who would have thought that a quiet kid in the marching band from Ohio would turn into one of DC's hottest new DJs on the scene?

Since June 2008, DJ Blaze has literally brought heat to the DC streets, spinning eclectic sets at over 20 venues both urban and international. "Being in the band is surprising one of the best forms of training for an aspiring DJ, " says Blaze. "Learning how to read music, count beats/bars and read a crowd definitely gave me an advantage." Well Blaze has certainly mastered the art of reading at least one segment of his audience. As "The Ladies' Favorite DJ", Blaze's #1 priority is keeping the girls hype on the dancefloor…and it's mission accomplished every night.

Blaze currently holds residencies in the Nation's Capitol at The Park at Fourteenth, Lux Lounge, Ozio Lounge and Lotus Lounge. A DJ Blaze set can be best described as a high-energy, booty shakin and fist pumpin mix of the hottest Top-40, Hip Hop, House, International and Mash-up music. No cheesy cuts here.
